Rockwell Collins (NYSE:COL) is showcasing cabin and connectivity solutions, integrated avionics, networked communications, and targeting systems for commercial aviation and government customers, as well as revealing new avionics contracts, at the Farnborough International Airshow.
Rockwell Collins, which takes an open systems architecture approach to avionics, continues to deliver advanced technology for current and new platforms that will be a focus for this year’s show, says a spokesperson.

Rockwell Collins executives are taking part in a signing ceremony to commemorate a new contract announcement with Thomas Cook Airlines at the Rockwell Collins Chalet (B13).
Rockwell Collins’ exhibit includes product demonstrations of the company’s newest offerings, including: Pro Line Fusion, which integrates and displays essential flight information through graphically rich interfaces; Head-up Guidance System (HGS), eliminating the need for pilots to transition from head-down instruments to head-up, out-the-window view during critical phases of flight; the MFD-2810 Multifunction Display, equipping the latest generation of helicopters; the PAVESTM3 single-aisle digital in-flight entertainment system; the ARC-210 Gen5 radio with an optimized Software Communications Architecture (SCA); TacNet Tactical Radio (TTR); and FireStorm for Joint Fires, which networks ground and air forces in a common air/ground operating picture.
