Business aviation market logs year-over-year growth

Business aviation market

ORLANDO, Fla., 31 Oct. 2012.The business aviation market experienced growth in corporate profits, gross domestic product (GDP) increases, a rise in flight hours, and expanded opportunities internationally, described Caroline Daniels, chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), during NBAA 2012.

The industry’s picture is mixed, and its optimism tempered, Daniels continued. “After all, not all business aircraft types saw an increase in shipments and billings this year. And we think that trend points to an additional concern: the continuing lack of financing,” she said.
